Employee Ownership is the ISSB Difference!
ISSB employee owners enjoyed softball and a hog roast at the first ESOP Fun Day held during the McKinley Park Festival in Creston this summer. The ESOP Committee organized the event as part of their mission to provide opportunities to ISSB employees in a culture that values the individual and fosters teamwork, personal growth, and learning.
ISSBee's Believe Campaign
We want to share our belief in the importance of children saving for their future. Just having a savings account can have a significant impact in their lives. The bulletin board quote, “children who have savings accounts are 4 times more likely to attend college” from the New America Foundation’s Assets Agenda 2011, captures this message.
We know that children learn through experience, and so we set our campaign at the teller line to reinforce the importance of children coming into the bank. Reas Knapp, ISSBee Savings Club member and nephew of our Preferred Advantage Club Director Karla Hynes, is the young man you see conducting his banking business with our mascot, ISSBee.
Depositing money in their own savings account makes savings “real” for our young customers. And, of course, ISSBee Savings Club members know that ISSBee says, “Money in the bank is like honey in the hive!”
If teaching your children to save has ever presented you with a challenge, you’ll enjoy this video story by ISSB’s Rene Lauer.
